I owned a bicycle shop back in the early 80's and owned many different style chain tools. This one is excellent, comes with an extra push pin, and will work great on any good quality 10 speed chain. It will also work on the cheap riveted type chains but I used a grinding tool to remove the rivet head to prevent the possibility of bending or breaking the push pin. I have used it on three very rusted chains and it worked super. It is also small enough to fit into most bicycle tool kit bags. I highly recommend it.
